L'illa has carried out a comprehensive refurbishment project to improve the customer experience and update the building with a focus on sustainability.

We have redefined the boundaries between the surrounding green areas and its users. The renovation, inspired by biophilia, has created a green shade area that connects the shopping centre with Sant Joan de Déu gardens, which houses a new and distinctive food and beverage offer with outdoor terraces.

Inside, we have renewed the building's image through lighting, ceilings, and other architectural elements. We have also worked to improve the visitor experience by renovating all restrooms and implementing rest areas and other elements to facilitate customer orientation and navigation while in the shopping centre.

All of this without losing sight of our impact on the environment. The renovation has improved the building's energy efficiency and included the installation of clean energy sources to reduce its carbon footprint.
Offices
We manage over 24,000 square meters of office space in the emblematic L’illa building. These spaces are designed to accommodate large corporations.
Implementation of Grupo Ferrer offices
In keeping with new market trends, we have also created L’illa & Co., a 3,100-square-meter coworking space inside L’illa building. It is an inspiring and versatile concept aimed at companies, professionals and startups looking for a flexible office space with the highest standards of service and quality on the market.
